This fantastic scenic tour is based in the Emerald Isles beautiful south west; explore the rugged coastline of the celtic sea. Our tour is based in the lovely Irish town of Bantry only a short walk from Bantry House and Gardens with its wonderful views over Bantry Bay. To make our journey as leisurely as possible we will have an overnight stay in Ireland both the outbound and return Journey.

This modern 4* hotel occupies a prime position on the quayside in the waterfront town of Bantry and features wonderful decor and excellent standards of interior design. The excellent food is complimented by lovely views over the bay. The bar offers traditional ambience and there is a cosy library lounge. The bedrooms offer satellite TV, hairdryers and a high level of comfort. With indoor swimming pool, sauna, stream room and two nights of live music we are sure you will have an enjoyable stay.

Tour Highlights

Day 1 We travel to Holyhead for our ferry over to Dublin then onto our overnight hotel.
Day 2 We have a leisurely drive down to Bantry stopping en route arriving at The Maritime Hotel mid afternoon.

Days 3, 4 & 5
  • Full day tour Mizen Head & Skibbereen Mizen Head is traditionally regarded as the most southerly point of mainland Ireland with breathtaking ocean views. Skibbereen is a vibrant little market town characterised by its many colourful, traditional buildings and shopfronts.
  • Full day tour Beara Peninsula The Beara Peninsula is a treasure trove of natural beauty, and charming coastal communities. One of the most scenic drives in Ireland, totally tranquil and unspoiled.
  • Day at Leisure in Bantry.

Day 6 We have a leisurely drive to our overnight hotel stopping en route.
Day 7 After breakfast we travel back to Dublin for our ferry to Holyhead before returning home.
